Terms of Service

Version: 2026-10-15Effective from: 2026-10-15

1. Acceptance

These terms are a contract between you and Artima s.r.o., Company ID: 19658451, VAT ID: CZ19658451, with its registered office at nám. T. G. Masaryka 1281, 760 01 Zlín, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by Krajský soud v Brně, Section C, Insert 135572 ("we", "us") for Artima Socials (the "Service"). The contract is formed when you create an account and accept the terms. We record the accepted version ID, 2026-10-15, and the time of acceptance. If you act for an organisation, you confirm your authority to bind it and "you" means that organisation. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

2. The Service

Artima Socials is a technical connection between you, your social accounts and your chosen tools. It connects Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts through a Facebook Page or Instagram Login, Threads profiles, and LinkedIn personal profiles and the organisation Pages you administer. It lets you publish and schedule your posts, edit or delete supported own posts, manage available comments, read network insights and use optional Facebook Page and Instagram direct messages. Each feature depends on the network, account, content type and permissions; LinkedIn comments and reactions are currently unavailable. It does not create or claim LinkedIn Pages.

You can use the app, API, MCP, webhooks and hosted connect links. Every LinkedIn post must be authored and approved or scheduled by you. We do not create, choose, review or approve your content.

Artima Socials contains no artificial intelligence. It does not generate, rewrite, summarise, classify or analyse content or people, and it makes no automated decisions. We do not use any data to train AI or machine-learning models, and we do not send data to AI providers. If you connect your own tools, including AI assistants, through our API or MCP, they act on your behalf and under your responsibility.

3. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16, provide accurate information, verify your email and have the legal capacity or required permission to enter this contract. Keep your password secret and report unauthorised access immediately to support@artima.ai. Share access only through the roles and keys provided by the Service. You are responsible for your account and every key, MCP connection and connect link created under it, subject to the mandatory protections in section 14.

4. Connected social accounts

  1. Authority. Connect only accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and maintain that authority throughout. You authorise us to access those accounts and carry out your instructions for your benefit. Obtain all required permissions from their owners. If you act for a client, including as an agency, you confirm authority to bind and bind that client to these terms and the applicable network terms.
  2. Network rules. You agree to and must comply with the rules of each network you use: Meta Terms of Service, Meta Platform Terms, Meta Developer Policies, Instagram Terms of Use, Threads Terms of Use, Community Standards, Pages, Groups and Events Policies and applicable Meta Advertising Standards; and the LinkedIn User Agreement, Professional Community Policies, API Terms of Use and Marketing API Program Terms as they apply to your use. A breach of those rules is a breach of these terms. You may not process platform data in a way that would breach obligations the networks impose on us.
  3. Instagram through a Page. Before linking an Instagram account through a Facebook Page, obtain the owner's acknowledgement and agreement that anyone with a Page role of moderator or higher can read and answer that Instagram account's messages.
  4. Network access. Networks decide which access they grant and may limit, change or revoke it at any time. We do not warrant that a network approves, keeps or extends our access; a network's decision is not itself a breach by us. Permissions for private Threads profiles expire after 90 days and must be granted again.
  5. Disconnecting. Disconnecting in Artima Socials removes our local tokens; it does not revoke permission at the network. Remove Artima Socials in the network's settings as well. Data retained after disconnection is described in Data Deletion.

5. Your responsibility

  1. You decide and are responsible for every action taken in or through your account: in the app, through the API, MCP, webhooks or hosted connect links. This includes actions by people you give access to and by scripts, bots, automations and AI assistants or agents you connect. Each action counts as your own instruction, including publishing, scheduling, editing, deleting, replying, sending messages and sharing data. You are responsible for all connected accounts and all content.
  2. Artima Socials is a technical conduit. It carries out your instructions and passes content between you and the networks. We have no editorial role: we do not create, choose, edit on our own initiative, review, approve, moderate or monitor your content before publication. Our ability to act on an unlawful-content notice does not mean we routinely review content.
  3. These responsibilities do not remove our own statutory duties or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Content you publish

  1. You bear full responsibility for all posts, comments, direct messages, automatic-reply text and media you publish, send or schedule, including content made with any tool. Review it before instructing its use.
  2. You warrant that you hold all required rights and permissions, including copyright, music rights, personality rights and permission from people shown, and comply with restrictions imposed by content owners. Content must be lawful, comply with every relevant network's rules and not be deceptive, discriminatory, hateful, abusive or otherwise contrary to good morals.
  3. You must meet disclosure duties, including advertising and influencer labels and required labels for synthetic or manipulated media. You must apply age restrictions and geographic restrictions where the law or network requires them.
  4. Automatic replies send only the text you wrote; we do not create prefilled replies for you.
  5. You are controller of the audience data you manage, including data about commenters, message senders and people represented in insights. You must have a lawful basis, provide your own privacy notice and handle their rights requests; we forward requests and assist under section 11. Use the data only to manage your own social presence, subject to section 8.

7. API, MCP, webhooks and connected tools

  1. Keys act on your behalf. Keep them secret, grant the narrowest permissions needed and revoke unused or compromised keys. Grant dm permission on a profile key pair only if message API access is needed. The MCP server forwards your key pair to the API and can do only what it permits.
  2. You choose and configure connected tools and are responsible for every action they take and every use of data they receive, including onward transmission to their own service or cloud providers. That processing is governed by your contract with that provider. The same rule applies to AI assistants and agents.
  3. Webhook endpoints must be yours or under your authorised control and secured against unauthorised disclosure. Message events can contain names, identifiers, message text and attachments. Account-wide webhook subscriptions are not controlled by a profile key's dm permission. Do not expose this data to unauthorised recipients.
  4. For hosted connect links, obtain the account owner's authority and inform them whose workspace receives the connection and how their data will be used.
  5. Respect rate limits. We may change the API with reasonable notice, except where a network forces a change. You may not make the LinkedIn integration or its data available to developers building products for unaffiliated customers. Other LinkedIn restrictions in section 8 apply equally to all channels.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  1. Violate applicable laws or network rules, infringe intellectual property, privacy, personality or other rights, or help others circumvent Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies or other network restrictions.
  2. Distribute spam, malware or viruses; harass, abuse, threaten or harm people; deceive, defraud, mislead or surprise recipients; publish or send disinformation or content intended to manipulate public opinion; impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.
  3. Use bots or other unauthorised automation or inauthentic engagement; buy, sell or exchange likes, follows, shares, comments, accounts, Pages, profiles or groups.
  4. Scrape or automatically collect data beyond permitted features; sell, license or buy network data; collect network passwords or other users' credentials, misappropriate tokens, or re-identify, de-anonymise, decode, reverse-hash or reverse-engineer platform data.
  5. Build or augment profiles or databases of people, conduct surveillance, discriminate, or use network data to determine eligibility for employment, credit, housing, insurance or similar opportunities.
  6. Create or claim a Page for someone without their consent or prevent its owner from accessing it.
  7. Send unsolicited direct messages. Obtain legally sufficient opt-in, provide an ongoing opt-out and honour it immediately. Respect the 24-hour messaging window and other network limits; do not use message tags or utility messages for promotions or solicitations. Disclose automated chat where required by law, including for users in California and Germany, at the beginning, after a significant lapse and when switching from a person to automation as required.
  8. Export LinkedIn member data by any means; combine it with other personal data or across unrelated accounts; use it for advertising, sales, recruitment or sensitive inferences; or use mention data for anything except mentioning.
  9. Use LinkedIn data in a social feed on a website or intranet, or offer the LinkedIn integration to developers for their products serving unaffiliated customers.
  10. Use the LinkedIn integration for adult content, gambling promotion or tobacco or alcohol sales to people under 21; harm members' professional reputation or relationships; or share false or misleading content, undisclosed synthetic or manipulated media, or spam contrary to LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies.
  11. Bypass security, technical limitations, rate limits or publishing caps; gain unauthorised access to accounts, workspaces or systems; probe or attack the Service without written permission.
  12. Resell or transfer access without our written consent, which cannot override a network's restrictions.

We may suspend misuse under section 16.

9. Content ownership and licence

You retain ownership of your original content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, process, transmit and publish that content only to the extent necessary to provide the Service and carry out your instructions. We retain our rights in the software, technology and brand.

10. Pricing, payments and subscriptions

  1. Current access. The Service is offered free of charge for now. Artima Socials will be a paid service; prices have not yet been set.
  2. Future paid plans. Paid plans will be introduced later, with prices and conditions published in advance. We will notify existing users at least 30 days before any charge applies.
  3. Acceptance and payment. Nobody will be charged without accepting a paid plan. Before you accept, we will publish the applicable payment, billing, renewal and cancellation conditions. If you do not accept a paid plan, you will not be charged; you may stop using the Service and delete your account.
  4. Network access. We do not charge separately for access to any individual network, including LinkedIn.

11. Data protection and processing (Article 28 GDPR)

The Privacy Policy describes personal-data processing. This section forms our processing agreement for personal data we process on your behalf ("Audience Data"). You are its controller, or a processor acting for your own client; we are your processor or sub-processor respectively. We act as your agent only for your benefit and on your instructions, not for our own purposes or another customer's purposes.

  1. Subject and duration. Providing the Service for the duration of your use and until Audience Data is deleted under point 9.
  2. Nature and purpose. Receiving, storing, displaying, transmitting and deleting Audience Data to manage your social accounts.
  3. Data types. Social-network IDs, names, usernames and profile pictures; posts, comment and message text, attachments and timestamps; interaction data shown in insights.
  4. Data subjects. Commenters, message senders, followers and other people interacting with or appearing in content from your connected accounts.
  5. Instructions. We process only on your documented instructions, consisting of these terms, your configuration and actions, and API calls, MCP calls and webhooks made or configured by you or your authorised tools. We keep each customer's data separate. You must hold the necessary rights for LinkedIn and other network processing. We tell you if an instruction appears to infringe GDPR. Processing otherwise required by EU or Czech law is disclosed to you beforehand unless the law forbids notice.
  6. Confidentiality. Persons authorised to process Audience Data must be bound by confidentiality.
  7. Security. We apply the measures in Privacy section 12 and must keep security appropriate to risk under Article 32 GDPR.
  8. Sub-processors. You generally authorise the providers listed on the Sub-processors page. We notify you of additions or replacements at least 30 days in advance. You may object on reasonable data-protection grounds; if unresolved, you may terminate the affected Service without penalty. Article 28 requires equivalent written data-protection obligations for sub-processors, and we remain responsible to you for their performance. Each provider listed on that page processes personal data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, forming part of its standard terms accepted by us.
  9. End of processing. At the end of the services, you may choose return or deletion of Audience Data, subject to legal retention duties and network restrictions. Ask privacy@artima.ai for a machine-readable copy before account deletion; LinkedIn member data cannot be exported. Account deletion removes the covered database data immediately and media normally within minutes, in every case within 30 days. Audit and publish-attempt records remain for 24 months (publish-attempt records longer only while a publication's outcome is unresolved), and webhook delivery records for 30 days after the final delivery attempt, unless deleted earlier. Server logs are kept in size-limited files that are overwritten continuously. Disconnecting alone deletes tokens and messages, while the connection record and post history remain until account deletion; deleting a post in the app removes it from visible history but does not erase the database record. See Privacy section 9 and Data Deletion for the complete rules. Legally required records are kept only for the required period, with evidence of the requirement.
  10. Assistance. Taking account of the processing and information available to us, we assist with rights requests, security, breach notifications, impact assessments and prior consultation under Articles 32–36 GDPR. We promptly forward requests received directly or through Meta to you and help you respond.
  11. Breaches. We notify you without undue delay and at the latest within 72 hours of becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting Audience Data, providing available information and further information as it becomes available.
  12. Information and audits. We provide information needed to demonstrate compliance and allow and contribute to audits by you or your mandated auditor, on reasonable notice, at your cost and normally no more than once a year, unless a breach, a competent authority or applicable law requires otherwise.
  13. Transfers. Locations and possible processing outside the EEA are described in Privacy section 13. Processing must comply with Chapter V GDPR and your documented instructions, including instructions about transfers. The providers process personal data under their standard data processing agreements; the transfer safeguards are described in Privacy section 13.
  14. Network rules. Network restrictions are part of your instructions and prevail over conflicting instructions, including LinkedIn member-data restrictions. You cannot instruct processing beyond your rights or the network's permitted purposes.

Backups. Every day at 03:30 UTC, an encrypted backup (restic, AES-256) of the database and server configuration file is sent to a separate Hetzner Storage Box in Falkenstein, Germany (EU). Backups are used only for disaster recovery, retain 7 daily and 4 weekly snapshots, are automatically deleted when they expire and remain for at most 28 days. Media files are not included. Account or profile deletion removes covered data from the live database immediately; copies made before deletion disappear when their backups expire, within 28 days.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or uptime. Features may change or be removed. Where possible, we give advance notice of material reductions affecting your use, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee continuous, error-free or secure availability, reach, engagement or business results. We are not responsible for network outages, API changes or whether a network publishes, keeps or displays content. A loss of network access does not itself entitle you to compensation, subject to section 14. Threads content may remain on third-party fediverse servers after it is deleted from Threads.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, including lost profit, lost data, goodwill, business interruption or other intangible loss.
  • Our total liability for claims arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. While you use the Service free of charge, that amount may be zero.
  • These limits apply regardless of the legal basis of a claim or whether we were advised of the possible loss.
  • We are not liable for your published or sent content, acts of your connected tools, or the networks' acts or omissions, including limits on access.

None of these terms limits liability where the law prohibits it, including intentional misconduct, gross negligence, harm to life or health, or mandatory consumer rights. The same protection applies to the disclaimers, responsibility and indemnity clauses.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify Artima s.r.o., its directors, employees and suppliers against third-party claims, fines, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service; published or sent content; actions of tools, automations or agents you connect through the API or MCP; breach of these terms or network terms; infringement of third-party rights; your processing of audience data as controller; or your breach of law. This does not impose obligations that mandatory consumer law prohibits or transfer liability that cannot lawfully be transferred.

16. Suspension and termination

  1. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
  2. We may suspend or end access, revoke keys, disconnect accounts or block publishing without prior notice if you breach these terms or network terms, endanger the Service, other customers or our network access, fail to remedy misuse of network data, or if a network, including Meta or LinkedIn, requests it or the law requires it.
  3. We tell you the reason unless the law forbids us. Termination ends your right to use the Service. Deletion follows Privacy section 9 and the Data Deletion page; it does not erase posts already published on a network.
  4. Content ownership, applicable licence obligations, liability limits, indemnification, data-protection obligations that remain necessary, and governing law survive termination.

17. Changes to these terms

We publish each change with a new version ID and give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. We will ask you to accept the new version. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account before the change takes effect. We do not treat a consumer's silence or continued use alone as acceptance of changed terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Czech law. We first seek an amicable resolution through legal@artima.ai. Disputes are for the competent Czech courts, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights under applicable law.

Consumers may seek out-of-court resolution through Česká obchodní inspekce (ČOI), www.coi.cz. Mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable right to withdraw from a distance contract, remain unaffected. Where that right applies, you may exercise it within 14 days of concluding the contract by an unequivocal statement to legal@artima.ai or our postal address; identify your account and the contract you wish to withdraw from. A particular form is not required.

Model withdrawal form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw. You may copy it into an email or print it; using it is optional.

19. Trademarks and relationship with the networks

Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.; LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. Names are used descriptively to identify connections. Artima Socials is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with those companies. The networks decide how their own services work. We, not the networks, provide support for Artima Socials at support@artima.ai.

20. Notices of illegal or infringing content

Send notices to legal@artima.ai. Include your contact details, the precise location or link of the content, the rights or law involved, why the content is unlawful, supporting evidence and confirmation that the notice is accurate to your knowledge and that you are entitled to submit it. We assess notices and may remove media we host, restrict access or block an account where justified. Report content already published on a social network to that network as well; removal here does not remove every external copy.

21. Severability and contact

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains effective to the extent permitted by law.
